![]() On those kinds of days, flagging a waiter down is a lot of work since he/she is sometimes nowhere to be found, I had to ask for water more than 3x, my friend waited for his Lychee Yogurt Soju for more than 25 minutes, until a waiter came by with a different drink and told him that the yogurt machine wasn't working(wth lol).Ĭhicken, fries, & maybe a beer. My only pet peeve is that, especially on days when MFC is really REALLY busy, the waiters sometimes forget about you. Maybe the timing was just right, but talk about great logistics during that day! For example, We were given the fries first, and when we finished, then came the breasts, and when that was finished, then came the wings. ![]() I liked how MFC doesn't dish out all our orders at once, but presented it to us one at a time, so it's less overwhelming. ![]() When I came here with friends on a Sunday night, we ordered Soy Garlic breasts, Soy Garlic wings, and Parmesan Fries. ![]() The fries are always piping hot and crisp. You can always ask for more sauce if you run out. It comes with A chipotle sauce mixture and ketchup for dipping. Although you might feel like ordering a ton of meat, I'm almost always full after just 3-4 wings, 3-4 breasts, and some fries. The meat itself is tender and not too moist nor dry, but just right. The skin is always crisp and flavorful without being too heavy or greasy. The fried chicken here is really freaking good! Every time I come here with friends, we always get the Soy Garlic flavored wings and drumsticks, and sometimes breasts. I've been to Mad for Chicken for more than four times already, checked-In on Yelp each time, got the regular stat, and yet I haven't written a review! SO loud for seemingly no reason, and consisting of entirely emo-rock. The only actual negative thing I have to report about this place is the music and its volume. They have a bar in the back, but their (boring, sorry!) beer selection needs some curating. Yay! The decor is nice, upscale eco-friendy, lots of (what looks like) reclaimed wood, exposed bulbs, and a few TVs here and there. Service is friendly, prompt and accurate. They have specials daily which seem to be really good deals on a number of their regular menu items. Soju Martini – I tried the lychee flavor, and boy was it good, like drinking a juicebox with (apparently) booze in it. Twister – They look more interesting than they taste, but if you want to shove some fried taters in your face, these are a fun alternative to french fries. Looking forward to trying their version of poutine. Dipping sauce is tasty, and the side of pickled radish that comes with most everything is an interesting and fresh choice. Again, crunchy on the outside, a little tough to cut, but they pull apart easily if you pick them up with your hands. Scallion Chicken – the chicken strips you've always wanted. If you're starving, get something else to snack on first. FAIR WARNING: The wings do seem to take a while to come out, so prepare yourself for that. The spicy version is too hot for me, but my husband loves them. IDK what the voodoo magic is that they do in the kitchen to make them so crispy, but whatever, I'll give them my first born if they keep those amazing wings coming. Wings/Drumsticks* – nothing short of amazing, crunchy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside. INSTANT FAVORITE! A quick rundown of what we've tried thus far: WOW! We've driven by this place about a thousand times, and finally stopped by late on a Saturday when it was basically the only thing open other than fast food.
